The New River Journal has been publishing electronic literature and digital art for three decades. Now with the publication of our 50th issue, we are broadening our mission to also include poetry and fiction.
Simultaneous submissions are accepted, but please limit your entries to one per genre per reading period. There is no submission fee. We regret that we cannot pay our contributors.
Please submit previously unpublished fiction up to 2,000 words, double spaced, in a PDF document.
Please submit 1-3 previously unpublished poems in one PDF document up to 10 pages long.
Please submit 1-3 pieces of electronic literature or digital art. We publish computational poetry, interactive fiction, augmented reality, video art, playable media, web-based sound art, and other transdisciplinary innovations. Please enjoy our Archives.
